Find myself interested in fish dishes recently, so I bought this piece of fish from Jusco...
I wanted to prepare something healthy for him, so I prepared this dish called
Steamed Fish with Fragrant Garlic
Ingredients
A slice of fish (approximately 1" thick)
Ginger (stripped)
Lime
Ginger (chopped finely)
Garlic (chopped)
Shallot (chopped)
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Sugar and pepper
Instructions
1 Clean the fish and pat dry. Rub the fish with a little soy sauce, lime juice, pepper and ginger strips.
2 Steam the fish along with the ginger strips.
3 Fry chopped garlic, shallots and ginger in propotion of 5 : 2 : 1 until fragrant and crispy. Set aside.
4 Once the fish is cooked, place the fried garlic, shallots and ginger on the fish.
5 Combine a little soy sauce, sesame oil, water and sugar in a pan. Simmer for a few seconds.
6 Pour the sauce mixture on the fish.
Voila!
