Love is in the Air

Love is in the air!
A simple meal cooked with lots of
specially just for Valentines Day...
This simple meal is called

Love


Ingredients
Eggs (beaten with sugar and a little soy sauce)
Corn nibblets
Potatoes (cut into sticks)
Sausages
Lots and lots of

Instructions
1. Fry the potato sticks in little oil and set aside.
2. Steam the corn nibblets and sausages in a wok or steamer.
3. Once the corn look puffy, dish out and mix with a little butter.
4. Pour the egg mixture in a mould placed on a pan without any oil.
5. Once the egg look opaque, lift up the mould and flip the egg to slightly brown the other side.
6. Serve on a nice plate with the sausages, fries, corn and garnish with parsley, sliced cucumber and tomatoes.

Cabbage in a basket

So this is the third dish that completes the whole meal yesterday...this dish is easy and yet delicious...can be eaten on its own..!


Cabbage in a basket


Ingredients
2 eggs (beaten with sugar and shoyu)
Cabbage (shredded/cut into strips)
Carrot (diced)
1 tomato (diced)
Yellow Onion (shredded)
Shallots, Garlic
Tomato sauce, chilli sauce
Soy sauce
Sugar, salt and pepper

Instructions
1. Pour a thin layer of the beaten egg in a flat pan.
2. Lift and line in a plate.
3. Fry onions, shallots, garlic and carrot in some olive oil until fragrant.
4. Add cabbage and stir fry.
5. Add tomato sauce, chilli sauce, sugar, salt and pepper and stir fry them.
6. Add the diced tomato and soy sauce.
6. Pour on the egg lining and garnish with mint leaves or parsley.

* Optional - the egg lining can be used as a wrap
